I want to upgrade my libc6,from etch to testing,the
output of apt-get below:

I am tuning my new Etch system,I have finally
installed
using a small HFS partition on the harddisk and a
netinstall ISO in a flash key.The problem is: I cannot
boot anymore my MacOS 9.2.2 partition,when I try
booting
from a CD the MacOS on it does not even recognize the
2 HFS+ and HFS on the hardd
The upgrade from 3.1 to Etch using apt-get
went very bad,now I don´t even have access
to the system,the login prompt freezes
when I do the login.Now I´m thinking about
doing a hard disk based fresh install of Etch.
I have a partition HFS formatted able to do
the install from it,but the needed files

I installed apt-0.6.46.4 from backports.org because I
wanted
security checks of Release.gpg not only the check of
the md5s.
However my first run of it(see above) does not show
any sign
of the checks.When I did apt-get update I saw the
download
of the files Release.gpg Release Packages.gz.Do apt
I want to upgrade to the latest Sarge r7 and then
upgrade to Debian 4.0r2 and I am not sure about
two things:
1) I installed apt_0.5.28.6 and aptitude_0.2.15.9-2
(from Sarge r7) and I don´t know if they do the
security checks.Check Release.gpg and then the
md5 automatically.I have the idea t
pppoeconf is useless for me,when I run
it detects eth0 but after some checks
it outputs:
Sorry,I scanned 1 interface but the
access concentrator of your provider
did not respond.Please check your
network and modem cables.Another reason
for the scan failure may also be another
running pppoe proces
1)I have a USB flash key of 1Gb but my
DebianPPC-kernel
2.6.8 when booting recognize the key,the
seller(Verbatim),
etc. but when I try to mount the key I can´t find a
filesystem
to do so: msdos,vfat etc. are not good,I receive a
warning
saying that can´t find a FAT filesystem on the key.In
MacOS9.2
