I built and installed a new kernel (2.4.21) on a Dell Dimension 8250. After a reboot the kernel allows no input from the keyboard. I cannot log in or anything. I must poweroff and then wait for the disk to be checked. I have lilo so I can run my old kernel. Can anyone help me with this problem
