I tried zope 2.6.1 deb binary downloaded from the zope website but could
not get to the manage page. Has anyone had any success in setting up zope
preferably from deb on woody, and if so, any words of wisdom would be
greatly appreciated.

I was thinking of burning a DVD of unstable on an iMac. From the Debian
website it would appear that the downloading should be done with jigdo. I
have fink installed on OSX but it does not include jigdo, does anyone know
if it is possible to run jigdo under OSX?

Have you looked at autospec? It will produce a script that will
automatically reproduce what you did in a given session...

I have an issue that I believe is at the kernel module level (K 2.4.18,
module opl3sa2). I compiled the kernel with debugging enabled
CONFIG_DEBUG_KERNEL=y. When the kernel freezes I get no core file and
can't seem to get anything from /var/log/daemon.log, kern.log, or

I have been having trouble getting my .emacs file recognized under
gnome/sawfish. I managed to get it to work under ICEwm and noticed under
WMaker that if I used to menu my .emacs wasn't recognized while if I typed
emacs from the xterm I got my .emacs...
