Sid and Xorg

Anybody else here running Sid? My last update was for the Xorg and associated video drivers...and now I can't get 1280x960 on my screen. That was my preferred resolution before the update. I have had a look at the bug database, and Googled the problem but there doesn't **seem** to be anyone el

I know this is OT, but I am running Debian Etch  -I picked up a new computer last light - 2.4 ghz with a dual core processorput my hd from my old machine in it...and WOW! I thought Etch was fast before on my 450mhz P3.This however is just the lead in to a question I am hoping the gurus here
