Hi ... This week I compiled a new kernel going from 2.0.34 to 2.0.36. With the change to higher kernel I also had to update my isdnutils to 3.0-8. I got all new packages from slink and got no problems compiling the kernel. Before the change to newer kernel, my isdn connection to the ISP worked fine. With the new configuration I have no problems as long I do not activate the isdnlog functions with the config file isdnlog.isdnctrl0.
As soon I start isdnutils with support of isdnlog I get spammed with the following messages: THESE are "normal" messages: Jan 16 15:10:53 goa ipppd[868]: Found 1 device: /dev/ippp0 Jan 16 15:10:53 goa ipppd[868]: ipppd i2.2.10 (isdn4linux version of pppd by MH) started Jan 16 15:10:53 goa ipppd[868]: init_unit: 0 Jan 16 15:10:53 goa ipppd[868]: Connect[0]: /dev/ippp0, fd: 8 Jan 16 15:10:53 goa kernel: HiSax: debugging flags card 1 set to 4 These are those keep spamming as long I shut isdnutils down: Jan 16 15:10:54 goa Jan 16 15:10:54 goa syslogd: Cannot glue message parts together Jan 16 15:10:54 goa 4>Jan 16 15:10:54 kernel: HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readstat 8192/4096<4>HiSax: status overflow readst Has anyone got the isdnutils running with the above configuration(2.0.36 + isdnutils3.0-8) or maybe any clue what is going on here ... ?
