A workmate has asked me to try and recover some photos on a corrupt 512MB
compact flash card. The card is /dev/sda and I have tried the following:
:~$ dd if=/dev/sda of=image.img bs=512
I stopped this when the image.img file got to about 5GB
:~$ fdisk /dev/sda
