understand this maybe involves making a package. I've searched, but all I
can find is instructions for using a difs package that only works, as far

http://members.mint.net/frodo/pine/ to download unofficial .debs of Pine
4.21.

Try changing -ltermcap in -lncurses in the makefile.

urses can do the same thing if you edit the source file to say -lncurses
instead of
-ltermcap. worked for me anyway.
