You can (and, mostly, should) have multiple MX-records for your domain.
The lower the preference the more the record is preferred, eg the
record with the lowest preference should get all the ma

DNS should be configured correctly; I've also signed up with DHS to
provide me with a dynamic DNS entry.
Here's what I've got at DZ's end:
Host Name : @.dlesage.com
Record Type : MX (Mail)
MX Pref: 10
Address: dlesage.dyn.dhs.org.
I'm not too sure what the MX Pref entry is.
