Just in case anyone missed the original message who might be able to help...
A footnote to this. Although I can login and the kernel log does seem to identify my NIC card I do not have network access. How can I go back to the original kernel if no one is able to help me fix the new one. I'm currently using my original boot floppy. Thanks again Cristov -----Original Message----- From: Cristov Russell [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, November 06, 1998 11:03 AM To: Debian-User List (E-mail) Subject: More kernel problems After recompiling my kernel I'm noticing some error messages during the boot concerning memory. Hoping that someone here could help me, I dumped the kern.log to the attached log.txt.file. If I should send something else please let me know. I also get an error about LD 4 which I believe is the Stereo Enhancement for my sound card (SB32PNP). Does anyone know if this is actually supported?
