I have another interesting observation:
the UNIX calculators don't give a choice, but the windows Calculator
gives an option to select "Scientific" or "Standard" mode.
In scientific mode,
I got, 1+2*3=7
In standard mode,
I got, 1+2*3=9
May be kcalc defaults to the scientific mod
Unlike the physical calculators, which compute the result before any
other math key is pressed, the software calculators do the compuation in
the end.
You would get 252, even if you use the calculator in windows 98/2000/XP
(I just tried out of curiousity)!
