If you have nfs, you can try mounting my ftp/pub directory via nfs. The server name is brahe.midco.net .. the ftp/pub dir, or any subdirectory thereof, may be mounted. It's exported readonly, so you might as well mount it read-only. FWIW, I also have a Debian (and ftp.gnu.org and alp
