I've heard of this as well. I also heard that if you burn the image at 2x or
4x some drives will accept the CD-RW then.
This is unlikely to work if your still using a single speed

Another one to add, some BIOS's don't like isolinux. If this is the case
you'll need a installation boot floppy or Smart Boot Manager.
