Is there any way to assign dhcpcd higher priority than dhclient3 when my system is going to obtain IP? hello. there is a configuration file /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf you can try any options which will help disable dhclient or give priority to dhcpd. Also do man dhclient.conf for options.
