Tenho um sistema Icecast + darkice aqui funcionando beleza para a
transmissão ao vivo de eventos, tenho dois sites, um interno e outro
externo, o problema que eu estou enfrentando é que todo o tráfico interno
passa antes por um proxy squid 3 e durante a transmissão de um evento

Estuve leyendo sobre icecast (2008), SHOUTcast, vlc, DarkIce, algunas
P2P PeerCast (2007), FreeCast (2006 ), Alluvium/actlab.tv (2005) y
otros. lo mas raro es que son todos proyectos que hace años que no se
que debería soportar el streaming.
Como no puedo tener 40 conexiones directas al servidor, necesito algún
modelo con proxy, relay, P2P o multicast.

Após as devidas configuraçoes do do icecast.conf v 1.3.11 (instalado atraves
dos Binarios do woody)
deparei com outro problema, estou usando em conjunto com o Shout,mas nao esta
funcionando.Vendo os logs do icecast notei que o mesmo nao aceita autenticacao
do shout(senha invalida

achei do dito arquivo
esta em etc/icecast/
nome do arquivo icecast.conf.dist
após as devidas configuraçoes, copiar este arquivo para /etc salvando com o
nome icecast.conf
como pode ver este arquivo não tem extensao .xml como na versao atual do
icecast
agora
deve ter um icecast.xml-dist (ou alguma coisa depois do .xml)
é um arquivo modelo.
qq coisa, baixa o source do icecast2 e instala na mao.

Mil gracias por la respuesta, ya me funciona perfectamente el icecast, lo
resolví desinstalando y compilando los fuentes, pero tendré que volver a
compilando con la opción de encriptar los passwords.
De paso, alguien sabe de algún hosting de streaming con precios acequibles?

copied the files in /etc/icecast/ to /etc like described in the files.
