Greetings,

I've been following this list for about a month or so and as a unix
know-nuthin' have found lots of good advice and tips. So, first off,
thanks!

Now on to the problem!

A while back I set up a bo system on an abandoned 586 that was sitting off
in a corner somewhere, and set it up with Apache as an underground mp3
server. This lets folks share tunes off of CDs that they like a lot.
Problem is, even with MP3 compression each song is between a 2MB and a 6MB
download. When people hit the longer downloads, this error message appears
on the server terminal window:

eth0: Infinite loop in interrupt, status 2011.

Despite the error message, nothing bad seems to happen, as the download
progresses normally and the user is unaware of any problem. I ran top and
hit a bunch of the links and watched as the message appeared and then
disappeared. Is this anything I should fix/be concerned with?

The NIC is an EtherLink III driven by the 3c509 module which is loaded in
the kernel on bootup.

Thanks in advance,

Henry
