When I set jre to Sun Microsystems 1.6.0_06 it seems to work but when I

I think in the readme for Java that you d/l you will see something that suggests
you don't link the plugin rather you copy it to the ../netscape/plugin
directory,
instead of linking it. Usually its installed under /usr/local/netscape/plugins.
Look for the readme file in the Java directory.

I am having problems running java. In fact it is anything to do with
java. Whenever I type java I get this:
