I am currently on "stretch" (testing).
Same behavior.
I seem unable to activate two cards at the same time.
With no /etc/X11/xorg.config I see the internal (Intel) card (no signal on
nvidia monitors).
If I add explicit NVidia setup then the other two monitors come to life *after

Hi,
I am struggling to make work my new Debian Squezze installation on my workhorse.
Problem is X setup and its interaction with desktops.
I have two VGAs:
* intel embedded in my i7 CPU
* external NVidia GTX770
Each of them drives 2 monitors for a grand total of 4.
I managed to have partial vict
Ping. Any thoughts on the below? Does GDM3 actually not support
multihead X? If it does, is there any documentation (by which i mean:
not the source itself) to describe how to set it up for multihead X?

Some software i'm developing requires me to test it under multiple
desktop environments. To that end, i want to have a multihead X setup: i

At least I know there's experimental support for multihead on console in
kernel 2.4
Hi!
With X11, I can use the two screens, that my Matrox G550 supports. But on the
text-console, both screens show the same.
Can I change this console-behaviour ? How ?
TIA!

I will give that a shot. Sounds like it will do the trick.

Just installed a Debian sid box. I am running Gnome and Sawfish. How do I get to video cards set up for a multihead under X.
Thanks
Hi,
I've set up XFree86 4.0.3 to run four monitors off an Appian Graphics
JeronimoPro card, which is incredibly spiffy, but...
When I close my window manager or CTRL-ALT-F1 the system hangs
(unpingable, reboot time).
I have it working fine with XiGraphics Xserver, but being a good
