Hi, I'm trying to set up snmp on my system, but i've run into a few difficulties. Some queries w/ snmp work fine (for example, uptime, ssRawContexts, etc.), but some i can't load. I want to set up cpu monitoring of some of my hosts w/ cacti, but for some reason i can't get to the cpu stuff w/

Hi, I'm running a Debian Testing with a 2.6.8-2 Debian patched kernel. I try to use mrtg. The problem is I cant get mrtg's cfgmaker working properly because of some weird errors. snmpd is launched. The kernel is a custom-compiled kernel, but from the Debian sources. May be I missed one

Hi, I am using an up-to-date snmp/snmpd on Woody (i.e. both are version 4.2.3-2). If I do an 'snmpwalk localhost public system', it diplays everything up to system.sysORTable.sysOREntry.sysORUpTime.9 and then gives me a timeout. After that, snmpd stays unresponsive for a long time. Even with

RTFFAQ? Turns out that the problem doesn't occur if I specify a really long timeout for smtpwalk. After the 'system.sysORTable.sysOREntry.sysORUpTime.9' line, it just gives me an 'End of MIB' and does not stay busy after that. So I know a workaround, but I'd still like to know why it takes so long
