durchforstet, aber nichts gefunden was mich weiterbringt.
Also ich habe folgendes Problem: Wenn ich 'ls -l' eingebe, bekomm ich

I am seeing the segmentation fault message as the startup scripts race by.
Cannot retrieve it by dmesg afterwards. It is apparently (hopefully)
harmless. Anybody else getting this. I have the most recent 2.6.8-4 kernel
image off Sid.

I've just installed the newest MySQL Administration GUI
(mysql-admin) and I noticed that every time I try to Apply some changes
I make i.e. after I add new database user this program exits with
segmentation fault error message.
I have no idea what is the reason.

list at http://lists.mysql.com/gui-tools It may even already be
answered :) Giving more details of the segfault might also help

I have had this problem many times, and it was not due to faulty
hardware but rather a software issue with me (well it was partially
hardware, it would corrupt the database creating the segmentation
fault). There was a way of fixing it, i think you had to delete some
files alas i cannot

hacer un apt-get dist-upgrade el programa apt termina
con señal Segmentation fault.
¿Te ocurre lo mismo con dpkg? ¿Te empezó a pasar esto después de alguna
actualización? Si te funciona dpkg puedes probar a reinstalar apt-get y
paquetes

I tried installing nmap a couple of days ago and ran into a bit of a
problem. ldconfig seems to have died with a segmentation fault. In the
past when I have had problems with apt they have resolved themselves in
a couple of days when a working version of a package appears but this
problem

A re-install seems to have fixed it. Although I have no idea how it
broke in the first place.

Descobri mais uma coisa interessante.
Basta eu trocar o arquivo smb.conf por outro, que nao tem nada a ver com LDAP,
que volta tudo ao normal, consigo inicializar o samba se aparecer a mensagem
segmentation fault.
