Those of us who use real e-mail clients don't see spam usually. Even if it falls through an excellent Debian-user spamfilter somehow. You just got unlucky with your Roundcube. > Please forgive me if this sounds stupid, but I am not > sure, Is this for real ? Do we need to do this, ? Why is the link > not for debian-user@lists.debian.org ? This is confusing. No it's not for real. MX record for the e-mail domain does not match the host used to send an e-mail. A clever spam since it's got though the graylist, though. There's exactly one thing one should not do about spam on d.u. You don't reply to spam. Clicking on any links in spam violates common sense due to the obvious reasons. Reading the spam e-mail, *especially* via the web-interface - now that could be harmful by itself. There's one thing that is considered a courtesy here about spam. Debian-user has a web-interface, reached though that wonderful "List-Archive" e-mail header. For the reference, the e-mail I'm replying to has it set to the following: https://lists.debian.org/msgid-search/887f976bdb529c9776684624e4e32...@openmailbox.org You click the link, locate "Report the spam" button and click it (of course, I'm referring to the original e-mail, not yours). The offending mail disappears from the archives, everyone is happy. Reco
