Dear all,
This is most likely not the best place for this, but I've
spent a rather large amount of time looking around the web
for a solution.
I currently running Debian 3.0 (testing), however I've
install unreal tounnament (the GOTY version). When I run UT
it seg faults, without writ

There are also some very good newsgroups at news.lokigames.com. There's
aboout 3000 messages in there at the moment, so its likely that

I think it may have something to do with the following lines:
[Engine.Engine]^M
GameRenderDevice=SDLGLDrv.SDLGLRenderDevice
WindowedRenderDevice=SDLGLDrv.SDLGLRenderDevice
RenderDevice=SDLGLDrv.SDLGLRenderDevice
In .loki/ut/System/UnrealTournament.ini

You may have to compile kernel patches supplied by the manufacturer of
your video card. Also check XF86Config-4(5) for detail
Does anyone know how to install UT such that it doesn't use software
rendering when one has a matrox g400 card?
Using debian unstable.
I'll gladly provide more system details for solutions. :-)

because when I installed the
glide packages my 3D screensavers increased in performance by about 500%.
I have tried installing UT using openGL renderes but that doesn't work. I
have tried Glide renderes as well and that doesn't work. Each option
segfaults.

Hi everybody,
I used to have a machine running Windows and Linux, but now I decided to
get rid off win.
Currently, I have setup which relyes on BIOS clock set to local time.
Since, I am converiting to linux only, I want to change that.
I know how to set the BIOS clock to UT time :-), but which
