The driver included in the 2.1 kernels DOES support the UW card. I would suggest getting that driver, it does work with the 2.0 (and the 1.2) kernels. I am not sure which version of the driver is being shipped with Debian's kernel. That is driver version 3.1D and goes in

I agree with everyone else's statement that BusLogic is Good, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with Advansys. Advansys maintains the linux driver and it should be a good one. Adaptec and Diamond will work at the expense of some robustness. I'll never buy them. On Thu, Mar 12, 1998 at
