alternative to setting quanta on hold I tried the ubuntu maverick
packages. They managed to include Quanta-KDE3 in a KDE4 System. The

Before upgrading to KDE4, I just put quanta on hold, along with the
other applications of kdewebdev:
# aptitude hold quanta kfilereplace klinkstatus kommander kxsldbg
I have Quanta Plus 3.5

You could create a livecd/dvd with Lenny and Quanta (with whatever
extensions you need). Then boot that up and work from that when you
need Quanta.

in the debian package repo shows still no quanta package.. now, thats
