I think I've just commited a mistake here. My wireless driver in my laptop is
iwl3945, which is not available by default in a fresh lenny install.. But
without it I can't connect to the net to install it.. Anyone know any

I have a broadcom nic bcm-5700 that driver was dropped in debian 2.6.11
kernel,
so I downloaded the driver from broadcom.com.
The driver was an src-rpm that I had to use alien to convert to a deb
package.
Was not too much of a hastle, but
I got a brand new Dell laptop with a Broadcom BCM 943056 wireless card.
I was told they (broadcom) put out a linux driver for it but then pulled it
back. because I can't use it under linux, I'm stuck using windows more
than I want to. does anyone know where I can find this driver??
