Thank you for the suggestion, Felix, although I'm not quite ready to
levy my scorn and blame on KDE (yet). Since my last post, it turns out

...
command=/usr/bin/X1 :0 -layout X1 -dpi 110 -deferglyphs 16
When system sturt up it start X server in 1024x768 resoulution
but only if monitor is switced on at booting time. If monitor is off
than X start in 640x480 resolution. Can this be fixed?
Thanks

Hello Andrej
I noticed your multiple posts yesterday and today morning I got another four
different threads from you, all about the same problem.
If you have a problem I suggest you to start one thread and then stick to it by
replying to your message or to the post other users send to help you
Have you tried "startx" ?
Do you have KDE or Gnome or another desktop environment already
install ? And also gdm or kdm ?
Cheers

I just hooked a friend up with Debian and we failed to get his
nvidia card working. Using just the nv driver, X starts and has no
errors in the log, but the screen just blanks and the monitor goes
into sleep mode. The system remains responsive, I can SSH and

buffer, X
