xanim-modules install script failing

I'm trying to set up xanim to allow me to view some old QuickTime movies. I selected it from dselect (stable), but the python script it runs at install time seesm to have a syntax error. How can I work arounf this? -- Stan Brown [EMAIL PROTECTED]84

Hello, I have installed xanim-modules and plugger 3.3 in order to play quicktime files but I still cannot even though about:plugins show that mimetype video/x-quicktime is enabled but mimetype video/quicktime is not. perhaps this is were my problems like but I am unsure how I can enable/fix

hi, when trying to run xanim (from netscape via plugger or from the command line) I get the following error: error in loading shared libraries :undefined symbol:__register_frame_info I installed xanim via `apt-get install xanim`. Anyone know how to fix this

Thanks for everyones help with the PPP problem. It's fixed now. :). I recently installed the XAnim package; I've tried playing AVI,MOV and MPG files. All of them play black & white, criss crossed with lines, and distorted with multiple outlines of the animation at different offsets.
