You might be safe to do that on a stable system

Lo unico que he detectado que
.old
(cambiando la extensión old por supuesto) y luego hice de nuevo todo el
repertorio de comandos aconsejados en estos casos:
apt-get clean
apt-get autoclean
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
pero de nuevo en apt-get upgrade me dice que:

Sur un de mes serveurs en Etch, j'ai fait un apt-get update qui m'a sorti
d'étranges lignes. En plus des lignes que je vois habituellement genre :
Get:2 http://ftp.fr.debian.org etch Release [35.4kB]
J'ai une centaines de lignes de ce genre :
Get:29 2006-06-23-1348.02

Dans ce cas, on peut demander à apt de ne pas utiliser cette nouvelle
fonctionnalité en ajoutant :
Acquire::Pdiffs { false; };
dans apt.conf.
Ou encore sans utiliser le fichier apt.conf :
apt-get update -o Acquire::Pdiffs=false

BTW: apt-ftparchive finde ich einfacher zu benutzen als
