apt errors; what?

After a week-long vacation, I come back to work and do ``apt-get update;apt-get upgrade''. All is fine for a while, then I get these errors... Any idea what this is? I installed the latest apt (0.1.3) and I still have problems with it. /etc/apt/sources.list is deb ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian
