bind ing ip and domain

Dear Matthias:

My registar can not resolve <img src="http://www.mycompany.com/file.gif";>
to static ip the registar claim he already bind to
mycompany.com

BUt rul or hyperlink(a href) is OK
just img src code in html my registar did not resolve to static ip

and if I use <img src="http://<mystaticip>/file.gif"> then it can show imgage

so in additon to complain to my current registar or switch, can we fix that by ourselves from linux box, may be using bind? or other(named?)?
