is, the hdimage is too small. The doc's suggest that a tool called mkdexe
will do the job, but it seems to be missing. A web search failed to turn

Yup, that lets me create any size hdimage I want. An empty,
unbootable one, which I can't get at from my bootable hdimage.
How do I either make it bootable, or make it accessible from
my bootable one?
