your only option may to get something like vmware. last i tried wine
couldnt run anything as complex as a browser. vmware was cheap..i got it
when it was only $75 ..now i think it is $199 ?? for non commercial
use..$299 for commercial

Microsoft Internet Explorer exists for almost any other system that's widely
spread. I don't think they are about to make a version for Linux soon. Linux
has become to competitive for Microsoft :-)
I'f you have access to a HP-UX or a Solaris machine you can install IE there.
