Have you the xtt module in your XF86Config file ?
If yes replace it with freetype.

similar, yet different. Star Office doesn't find many of the standard fonts,
including
coates/home/edwardsaFailed to load font
-adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal--19-0-0-0-p-*-iso8859-1
Please verify your fontpath settings
Try spadmin - fonts - add
It worked for me.
