I installed Woody last week and experience problems to ftp through our
organization's firewall. Inside the firewall there is no problem at all.
Is there anyone who can help?

You need to tell your FTP client to use 'passive'

What is dselect passing to my ftp proxy???
I can go through the firewall manually but I need to figure out exactly what
commands dselect is generating.
Can I monitor this somehow
I do not have man pages or anything to help me because I can not run dselect

I have debian running on an old computer.
It has no CD.
It is on a LAN
I can manually ftp to debian through my firewall if I use [EMAIL PROTECTED]
but I can not dselect. When I try it does not get to the ftp server.
