Oi amigos,
eu estava precisando de um identificador único de uma máquina, quando
derepente me deparei com o hostid. Olhei no man e no info mas parece
está muito confuso como ele consegue o resultado. O man diz que é do IP
e o info (info coreutils hostid) diz que nem sempre. Dei uma olhada
the new hostname stuck.

Linux doesn't have a hostid. Sun workstations have a hostid. It is a
32-bit number which is guaranteed to be unique on a Sun and is contained

So there is a debian command for it! Well, it doesn't come from hardware
in linux and isn't guaranteed to be unique
