Hi!
I'm fighting with the problem that ipppd doesn't connect correctly to my ISP.
It dials, connects, but also disconnects immediately after that. So I had a
look at /var/log/isdn/isdnlog and noticed that ipppd calls the wrong number.
Instead of just calling REMOTEMSN, it always calls:
Hi,
what do I have to make to use ipppd ? -- I already managed to connect
with the normal pppd with a capiplugin.so (from isdn4linux source) with
my FRITZ!PCMCIA, so the hardware problems (driver) seems to be solved.
Now there is a boot script
/etc/init.d/isdnutils
which starts

Thanks for the hint, he doesn't complain about a missing pap-secrets any
more, although he says 'unknown comman in ipppd.ippp0: -> name <-'.
But know i have the next problem: i get the message that
"isdn_ppp_bind: Can't find a (free) connection to the ipppd daemon" .
How could i fix this? Thanks f
in /etc/isdn/ipppd.ippp0
in Section AUTHENTICATION
is a variable called "name"
the name given there has to be equal to the name given in
/etc/ppp/pap-secrets or /etc/ppp/chap-secrets

Hi!
I'm trying to configure my ISDN-Card with Debian 2.2 . I didn't have any
problems until I tried to dial the first time. /var/log/messages tells
me that "ipppd:no pap/chap-secrets defined for this user" although
pap-secrets exists. Everything else looks fine. May be somebody could
help me to fix
