Apologies for the long post. I'm attempting to install HCF modem drivers from a tarball --I know, I'll get a real modem, that's not my point just now-- and it's expecting to find the kernel source tree at /usr/src/linux. That's fine, i've got a symlink there to /usr/src/kernel-source-2.2.20 and m
