I thought for a while that I could not launch shell scripts from kfm in
my [slink] debian dist. (my slackware dist. works no problem) but it was
the environment variables that I was referencing inside the scripts...
e.g. below I simply create a kdelnk file using the below script file,

ln -s /usr/lib/libjpeg.so.6a.0.0 /usr/lib/libjpeg.so.6
And it will work.

I Have downloaded the latest version of kde and Love it. however I have 3
questions.
1: when I run kfm the root windows color changes. This also hapens when i
open folders ... etc . I have changed my root windows color with kdisplay
-setup so this may have something to do with it but I have
