Whenever I use Nautilus, then close its window, its process still sticks around
and I have to kill it manually. I'm assuming this is a "feature." Can anyone
shed light on this?
I'm using unstable.

I would believe that it's running as your desktop, which would show up
as a Nautilus process (if you're using Gnome at least).
