Unlike php4, to get php3+mysql to work you have to edit the php3.ini file.
php3.ini is in /etc/php3/

I have a question reguarding the debian process.
I don't mind compiling packages on my own, but since I like using, and
keeping my system up to date, using apt/deselect, I don't want to get away
from that.
So, if I compile some of the packages on my own, will that be recognized by
apt/dselect?

Checked it, I even added a new user gave it all permissions, and changed to

so, I installed php3, but when I go
I'm trying to install php-nuke. I used deselect to install php4, and I
uncommented the php4 load moduale statement in the httpd.conf, but when I go to
the website it still tries to open the save program box. What am I missing?
