7200rpm deskstars. I want to configure these deskstars on RAID-0 Striping.
Is this compatible with the current linux kernels? If not are there any
available addons? If so how can I install debian on my RAID Array before

I am trying to build a kernel 2.2.17 with raid support. I thought the raid
support is already in the kernel but that seems not to work.
The latest available raid kernel patch is for 2.2.11 (kernel.org) or
2.2.10 (debian package).

Server for personal use, I want to virtualize a few servers(mail, web,
ssh) and use it as a NAS, but I have a question if I can use Multiple
RAID Arrays using the following HW:

controller, but the latest debian-installer's aacraid module doesn't
recognize the 2610sa. The 2410sa, 2810sa and 21610sa are mentioned as
being supported on adaptec's site (and linit.c suggests same - see

found tell me I need RAID compiled *into* the Kernel, not added as a module,
