Sounds like a (la)tex FAQ. comp.text.tex can probably help, or

Thanks, yes. This is a good short summary of what a Debian user needs
to know to get WP8 working.

Does anyone have the steps necessary
I would certainly like to vote for the WP import/export in OO.org.
Do I need to e-mail someone else?

Do you know where it's possible to get WP5.1 or WP6.0 disks, except
on Ebay?

I haven't used WordPerfect8 from Corel in a while and just discovered

Hi,
I'm having trouble reinstalling Wordperfect8 on a Potato system.
It was running fine a couple of months ago after I installed libc5
and xlib6 but it is now complaining
/usr/local/wp8/wpbin/xwp: can't load library 'libXpm.so.4'
When I try
~#loca
debs,
wordperfect8 wants "libXt.so.6". ...didn't see it when searching
@ debian.org. could someone let me know where i can find it.
thx.

To Robert Kerr,
You were right. I was running Xwindows in 24 bpp mode, and
switching to 16 bpp mode cleaned everything up nicely. Funny
the installation docs made no mention of this restriction.

because I have a conflict. Can someone tell me wahat packages I must have

hello,
I've just installed wp8 and, when I launch it, it says to me:
can't load library 'libXpm.so.4'
I checked, and I DO NOT have this library... I've got 'libXpm.so.4.10'
and wp seems to need th release 4 and not 4.10...
where can I find it?

I am having trouble printing in WP8. I have a Lexmark Optra R+ set to lp
using Printer Create/Edit , then Setup, then Destination. When I click
on Print, WP says the print job has been queued but the printer does not
get fed the file. When I try again, WP queues the file a second time.
