Thank you for the suggestion, Felix, although I'm not quite ready to
levy my scorn and blame on KDE (yet). Since my last post, it turns out
that the full KDE desktop DOES start, but it takes an excruciating
amount of time (more on that in a second). systemd, systemd-analyze
and journald report
When system sturt up it start X server in 1024x768 resoulution
but only if monitor is switced on at booting time. If monitor is off
than X start in 640x480 resolution. Can this be fixed?

xf86config settings are ok, X won't come alive and a
Fatal error related to AddScreen comes on the
output console! Whenever I DO NOT choose the frame
buffer, X comes up and sounds of X

generated, but with no video output and the screen

Programme, wenn Du X ueber "startx" startest, in .xsession,
wenn Du ueber desktop-manager startest.
Ausserdem steht xfwm fuer xfce - der XFWindowManager
(so heist es glaube ich ausgeschrieben) ist der window-
manager von xfce.

als Login-Manager. Der hat ein eigenes .XSession-File und
wenn ich das Programm da eintrage funktioniert's (sytemweit
