how do I open xterm with a program? Let's say I want an icon on my desktop
opening mc or mutt. What would the command be to have an xterm with one of
these programs open automatically with xterm?

in the early frozen dists to face troubles. I wanted to. But I agree, I
can't think of a really good reason to update a whole system on an unstable
branch. You're guaranteed to crahs th
recognition and marketing power.
- Java is growing stronger and stronger, and more use of Java means less OS
dependancy. Bad for microsoft. Real bad.
- And last, Be and Macintoshes are growing stronger (or coming back, ;) )
and will probably take the newbie users. And these are the ones that really
put Microsoft at what it is with win95.

I've been having a few troubles myself... Was able to connect, but any
download (read: apt-get upgrade =P ) over 20k would end up timed out.
I'd say one of the internet backbones had one helluva backache.

load_client_codepage: filename /usr/lib/codepages/codepage.850 does not exist.
What does this mean? Does it matter? If yes, how do I fix it?
While I am at it: How do you cut/copy/paste from/to to the mc editor?

Hello
I once had the error mentioned in the subject line with an
IBM DAQA4030 4GB drive (which smoked up some month ago...)
I fixed it by suplying something similar to the following
options "ide0=noautotune"
to my /etc/lilo.conf. Then it was quiet.

Since pkware released a version of pkzip, you should be able to use that as
a backup resource, if unzip cannot.
