Bom, pra quem tava tendo problema de som no firefox, fiz uma atualização
aqui (já antiga, é verdade), mas lendo no changelog, vi uma coisa que
pode ajudar quem tava tendo problemas com som no flash:

The audio dsp wrapper program is now disabled by default. This may
break sound in the non-free Flash plug-in and non-free Java
plug-ins. It may be re-enabled by editing /etc/firefox/firefoxrc or
~/.mozilla/firefox/rc and setting FIREFOX_DSP=auto. Be warned that
this can lead to crashes on many systems.
