That's up to you and the other debconf organizers. I don't have strong
opinions on how it should be done. I believe however that debconf would
benefit from some more transparency wrt DD. 

Something that could be done is for example posting a report detailing who
were the sponsors, how much money we got, how it has been spent, etc.
Given the nature of such a report, it ought to be posted on debian-private
IMO.
