Confirmed to be working on recent KDE from Sid, most likely it will fix qt4
issues with other desktop environemts. Skype shows taskbar icon without any
problems.
Your build is ok for me, so I only compiled 32bit package.

It's actually not possible, because Debian includes qt 4_4.8.7 (in sid). So I
can't replace files with older version, most likely it won't work. How do you
have 4.8.6 in Debian?

I did quick google search about this error, but still can't figure it out. Any

You should install the nVidia deb packages instead. Try
to be updated anymore, so this would solve all problems
forever, at least for qt4 apps (gkt ones is another story, again debian
maintainters failed with that for many packages).
