Hi, maybe you are aware of https://github.com/mhogomchungu/media-downloader
It serves the very same purpose, but it seems to have much more options
for controlling the exact format you want to download.
It is also a simple C++, Qt based project, but it is not packaged yet,
so maybe it is a better
