I finally did it! It became version 1.9.5 but we have it! If you clone,
download, whatever the project directory, you will find no games
anymore. Instead, Commander Genius upon execution offers a download
manager which automatically pulls the games, if the user wants

I'm working on an update for Commander Genius (Version 1.9.4). It will
have a game manager, which can automatically download the games. So we
can build the whole thing without offering any shareware or strange
license packages. Next version and github will be stripped for that matter.

I'm the main developer of Commander Genius, good to see there are some
wishes to integrate that to the debian packaging system.
So far I have created a PPA for Ubuntu in which the CG is built. Maybe
you can take some of the build rules as they are similar to those of debian.
