For several years now that my maintenance of esmtp consists just in
accepting and applying patches with enhancements and bug fixes I
receive, with little or no alterations. Truth be said, it doesn't take
as much time as maintaining the debian packages, which you're taking
upon

I'm not using this package and I don't have the time to maintain it.
There is one last release available from

which uses new upstream and fixes a bug.
