Bill Allombert has already made new gap4 packages. He'll upload them
real soon now.

I intend to adopt gap4 and the related packages. Upstream version is
now 4.3.fix4, so I'll try to get that out. Also, it is now released
under the GPL.

objections, I would like to take over maintainance
of this package. The previous maintainer of pingus was Martin Butterweck
(blendi), who died last year. I think it is appropriate if I remember his
work in the README.Debian.

Becaue it still seems to be in use, I'd still like to package it.
The main reason is, btw, that it is used by scid, a chess game database,
to generate printable output.
